Eishin Junior High School

I. We third year students of Eishin Junior High School wanted to try and convey a strong message of peace for KIDS' GUERNICA.
We wanted to show how the creative imaginations of young people could contribute to world peace in the 21st. centry.

　　
　
II. When we were 2nd. year students. 14 years old, we studied about Guernica as part of KIDS' GUERNICA in an art history lesson. At that time we came to know that KIDS' GUERNICA appealed for world peace.
So we dicided to create Kids' Voice and KIDS' GUERNICA with messages of world peace.

III. The theme we took up was Love and Peace.
We have drawn up our ideas for world peace.
The excutive comittee members made this main picture on a big canvas by arrainging the initial sketch given by the 3rd. year students.
We accomplished this, little by little, before and after school.

IV. And at last we could complete Eishin's Kids' Guernica by pasting the parts of all 201 students' works.
We felt a sense of a fullfilment upon the completion of this inspiring work; it contains a lot of love and cooperation from us all.
