Big Mural
Workshop in Bay County, Florida, USA
October 29 - November 1, 2001

This mural is the first work by American children after the terrible events of Sept. 11. The main theme is "What Peace Means to Me." A large angel is holding a World Trade Center tower in each hand in the mural. The mural was exhibited at the Visual Arts Center before sending to Italy.
Participant children:

Elementary students from Oakland Terrace, Northside, Patronis and St. Andrews elementary schools.
Middle school students from Mowat.
Assistant students from A.D. Harris and Arnold High schools and Gulf Coast Community College.
