As a prelude of the workshop that started on the 17th April, an Orientation Programme was organized on the 16th april, wherein the participating children were made to get familiar with each other, with the environment of the workshop, with the do's & donot's during the workshop & finally the theme of the painting was decided as follows;
We all are the children of the same CREATOR and only LOVE & COMPASSION can bring about PEACE & HARMONY cutting across the borders of Race, Religion & Creed and binding us all together in this global village to make a better tomorrow or else an eye for an eye will leave us all blind.
Mural painting Workshop from 17th to 21st April 2002 from 11 a.m. to 5 pm at Ghanshyamdas Saraf Girls'College, S.V. Road, Malad, inaugurated by Mr. B. L. Jhunjhunwala Chairman- Governing Council, Rajasthani Sammelan Trust.
Closing Ceremony - Certificates Awarded to participating children, art teachers, artists by DGE Gulam Vahanvaty of Rotary International 3140.
Presentation of cultural programme by participating children, at Ghanshyamdas Saraf Girls'College, S.V. Road, Malad.Exhibition on 22nd and 23rd April between 11am and 6pm at Ghanshyamdas Saraf Girls'College, S.V. Road, Malad.
A cultural Programme on World Peace was presented by the participants on the concluding function.Organised by Rotary Club of Mumbai Goregaon West in association with.Ghanshyamdas Saraf Girls'College, S.V. Road, Malad.
