Big Mural
Workshop in Khatyn, Belarus
January 2003

Khatyn, a Byelorussian village, the inhabitants of which were exterminated by the Nazi during the World War II.
At present time, nobody lives in Khatyn which was transformed in a memorial place visited by thousands people.
So, we decided on choosing children from Minsk 60 km far from Khatyn who study in art school. From the beginning they work under the direction of Mr. Leonid Levin, a Jewish architect who built the Khatyn memorial.
